Giulia Patane

Giulia holds a Juris Doctor Degree, a Specialization Degree in Law and a Master of Art in Human Rights. After working for a civil and criminal firm and assisting the Public Prosecutor Office in Italy, she decided to focus her work on social justice and human rights issues. Giulia moved to Asia in 2012 and since then she has designed and implemented NGOs and Academic projects predominantly investigating Access to Justice for victims of trafficking in persons in the South East Asian territory with a special focus on child victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC). Currently, Giulia works for PILnet as a consultant leading the Anti-Trafficking in Persons effort and supporting the development and implantation of the Online Regional Course on Public Interest Lawyering.
