Toby Brown practices at the Bar in London in commercial litigation and related fields, and is recognised by Legal 500 as a Tier 1 leading barrister. Since 2008 he has assisted or led various pro bono initiatives in the UK, including for the past 6 years chairing the organising committee for the UK's Pro Bono Week. Toby was recently appointed Chair of the steering group of the Attorney General's Pro Bono Committee of England and Wales, which brings together representatives of the pro bono sector to assist collaboration across the jurisdiction. Toby is currently coordinating an initiative established by partners from around the world to support jurisdictions in arranging their own version of a pro bono week, which will launch at the 2023 PILnet Global Forum.
