Sustainable sports infrastructure can help strengthen communities by creating spaces that promote youth development and social inclusion.But bringing projects of this scale from vision to reality requires strong legal foundations, especially when implementation spans multiple jurisdictions and partners.
Switzerland-based nonprofit Sport Grounds 4 Future (SG4F) is working to develop sustainable sports infrastructure across Africa, using sport as a tool for social cohesion, well-being, and economic empowerment. As the organization advances the development of a community sports hub in northern Senegal, it required pro bono legal support to help establish governance arrangements, strengthen partnerships, establish contractual frameworks, and navigate the legal complexities of implementing a cross-border initiative. Through PILnet’s clearinghouse, SG4F was matched with Senegal-based AF Legal.
We are honoured to provide pro bono legal support to Sport Grounds 4 Future in its mission to develop sustainable sports infrastructure for remote communities in Northern Senegal, contributing to a project that places people, inclusion and sustainable development at the heart of its vision, wrote AF Legal in a LinkedIn post.
