Zaid Hydari

Zaid Hydari is a human rights lawyer with over 10 years of experience in refugee law, international humanitarian assistance, and development. Holding a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, Zaid served as a legal adviser and unit coordinator with a refugee legal aid provider in Istanbul from 2010-2014. He co-founded the Refugee Solidarity Network (RSN), a US-based non-profit focused on refugee legal protection and capacity development in key host countries. As the Executive Director of RSN he has lead projects in Turkey, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, and elsewhere. Zaid teaches International Refugee Law & Policy at Fordham Law School as an adjunct and is a member of the International Human Rights Committee of the NYC Bar Association.
