In November, PILnet and the Hungarian Bar Association supported a children’s rights training conducted by the Hintalovon Foundation. The training was designed for lawyers who are members of the Budapest Bar Association and aimed to recruit volunteer lawyers to the Hintalovon’s Children Rights Clearinghouse.
PILnet also collaborated with Terre des Hommes Foundation on trainings for juvenile justice cases in Hungary. Tamas Barabas, Senior Legal Officer at PILnet, provided a lecture for 20 public prosecutors and official guardians in Nyíregyháza on international and Hungarian pro bono developments in this area. He also spoke about PILnet’s special commitment to engaging commercial lawyers in children rights cases
