PILnet, in partnership with Latham & Watkins, held a two-part webinar for Russian and European NGOs and social enterprises, The Russian Data Privacy Rules and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), on June 10 and 17.
During this two-part English-language webinar, Ksenia Koroleva and Vadim Popov, lawyers from Latham & Watkins´ Moscow office, discussed the comparison of Russian and EU regulations such as the rights of the personal data subjects, legal basis for notification of data processing, and adoption of privacy policies.
