Webinars for Lawyers
As part of its Anti-Trafficking in Persons (ATIP) project, PILnet is organizing a series of webinars and workshops for lawyers in Vietnam and Myanmar. The webinars and workshops, scheduled for early July 2020, will focus on the following:
- Pro Bono Workshop: 101. This webinar will focus on the development and good practices of pro bono initiatives within law firms.
- ATIP Workshop I: International legal framework. This webinar – organized with the expertise of Liberty Shared – will look at the definition and elements of TIP, relevant international legal frameworks, TIP victims vulnerabilities, and the role of pro bono lawyers in assisting ATIP NGOs.
- ATIP Workshop II: National legal framework. This workshop will focus on the local legislation and applicable procedural regulations, diving into strategies for handling cases and jurisdiction-specific challenges.
