About the Roundtable

The Pitching Roundtable is hosted by PILnet, along with other members of the GRF Legal Community Pledge, to enable NGOs to pitch their pro bono project ideas to law firms and to facilitate interactive discussions between them. The Roundtable presents a unique opportunity for the legal community to hear first-hand about the legal needs of refugees, other forcibly people, and the organizations that work with them. We welcome broad participation though we expect those joining to have a genuine interest in taking on a suitable pro bono project.

There will be a wide range of pro bono projects pitched, ranging from projects involving comparative legal research to direct advice and representation of forcibly displaced people, as well as pitches from NGOs needing organizational legal support, such as with the drafting of governance documents. Check out the agenda and to know more about what type of projects are being pitched. You can contact PILnet at [email protected] for a Catalogue of Projects.
