117,000 million people are forcibly displaced today, and many more millions are stateless or lack the legal identity to claim their nationality. For these communities, legal assistance has never been harder to access. The Global Refugee Forum Legal Community Pledge brings together law firms, nonprofits, refugee-led organisations, bar associations, UN agencies, States and academia to put the power of the law to work with and for displaced and stateless people.
Each member makes their own commitment towards the shared goal of increasing access to legal assistance and advancing systemic change to facilitate access to rights, justice, and solutions for and with displaced and stateless people.
