The Hong Kong Pro Bono Roundtable held its third meeting of the year on 2 September 2024, kindly hosted by Hogan Lovells. The discussion focused on housing issues in Hong Kong, with sharing from Habitat for Humanity about issues arising from subdivided flats, unclear tenancy agreements, poor living conditions, and importantly, how pro bono lawyers have made a positive contribution in these areas. This was followed by sharing from two lawyers at DLA Piper, who provided a practical perspective of housing-related pro bono work.

We’re grateful for Hogan Lovells, Habitat for Humanity, and DLA Piper for the fruitful discussion, inspiring more lawyers to contribute their time and skills in this area!
