On 8 September 2025, PILnet hosted the Opening Event of the fifth round of our Public Interest Law Mentorship Program. This round of the program is met with a record high of twenty mentor-mentee pairings.
The event began with welcome remarks, followed by lively ice-breaking activities where mentors and mentees got to know each other better. After being introduced to the mentorship program and receiving pointers on how to maximize opportunities and exposure during the program, participants had the opportunity to continue networking.
We are excited for the participants to continue establishing connections with one another. We hope that the program will provide helpful guidance to the mentees, enabling the next generation of public interest professionals to learn from leading legal professionals in the public interest law and pro bono space.
