Ana de la Cruz Cubeiro is PILnet’s Senior Legal Officer for the Global Clearinghouse, based in Madrid, Spain. She leads PILnet’s Global Clearinghouse, which connects CSOs around the world with pro bono lawyers, coordinates cross-border legal projects and partnerships, and develops legal resources and initiatives responding to emerging needs of civil society. Ana holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Law and Economics, an LLM in International Criminal Law, and a Master’s Degree in Legal Practice and Advocacy in Spain. She has also completed specialized legal training in Spanish nonprofit and foundations law. Before joining PILnet, Ana participated in a legal clinic focused on combating gender-based violence affecting teenagers in Spain and contributed to research at the University of Amsterdam examining international crimes committed against migrants and European Criminal Law. In Madrid, she serves as Secretary to the Board of Trustees of a foundation supporting women with disabilities.
