Benita leads the "UPJ Pro Bono Rechtsberatung" the Germany-wide pro bono legal programme. As an intermediary organisation, UPJ manages the commitment of a large network of law firms and individual lawyers who provide pro bono work, supporting the valuable work of non-profit organisations in Germany. Benita has expanded the number of pro bono collaborations and has set up technology-supported new processes. The non-profit organisation UPJ works closely with the association Pro Bono Deutschland. In addition to the pro bono area, UPJ strengthens corporate responsibility and the social commitment of a diverse network of companies and encourages cooperation with other players within civil society, politics and public administration.
