As Pro Bono Partner, Ben Weinberg helps manage Dentons' substantial global pro bono program. Prior to joining Dentons, Ben served as Chief of the Illinois Attorney General's Public Interest Division. Before that, Ben was a partner at Jenner and Block, where he maintained an active pro bono practice. Ben began his legal practice at Legal Aid Chicago. Ben also served as law clerk to the Honorable William J. Bauer of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Ben is one of the founders of the Law Firm Antiracism Alliance (LFAA), and serves as Board Secretary. Ben was President of the Association of Pro Bono Counsel (APBCo) in 2016. He also serves as adjunct faculty at Northwestern University School of Law, where he co-teaches a seminar on pro bono in large law firms.
