Carbon de Seze, a criminal and civil lawyer at the Paris Bar, is a former Secretary of the Conference and a former member of the Bar Council. Long committed to the rights of the defense, public freedoms, and human rights, he has held several responsibilities within the Bar, notably serving as the bâtonnier’s delegate during searches of lawyers’ office, and has been involved in numerous Bar committees in the fields of criminal law and legal ethics. Deeply engaged in the training of lawyers, he regularly teaches and speaks to trainee lawyers and fellow practitioners, and carries out initiatives in France and internationally to promote access to justice and the protection of fundamental freedoms.
