Manjarrez is the Chief Data Officer at the Legal Services Corporation, the largest single funder of civil legal aid for low-income Americans in the United States. An urban planner by training, he leads a team of data scientists and social researchers charged with gathering, analyzing, and reporting on the state of civil legal needs and character of legal service delivery. Prior to LSC, he worked as a housing policy researcher at the Urban Institute and then served as the research director of the Institute of Museum and Library Services, where he established the first cultural data collection program in the U.S. Federal Statistical System.
