CASE Italia is an informal working group established in 2021, coordinated by the Osservatorio Balcani Caucaso Transeuropa. The working group supports the Coalition Against SLAPPs in Europe (CASE) in the fight against SLAPPs across Europe. In support of journalists, activists, whistleblowers, human rights defenders, and others targeted by abusive lawsuits, our commitment is to denounce legal harassment and to protect the rights of those who speak out on matters of public interest.
