Chikondi Chijozi is the Southern Africa Litigation Centre (SALC) Criminal Justice Lead. She is also a Commissioner of the Malawi Human Rights Commission. She holds a Master of Laws (International Human Rights Law) from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Malawi. She has over 18 years of experience in human rights work and has engaged in a number of important strategic litigation cases in Malawi, in relation to prisoners' rights, LGBTIQ+, child rights, and women's rights.
