Chudamani Acharya is an advocate with a long history of regular court practice in Nepal. He is a former Vice-President of the Nepal Bar Association, Central Committee (2000-2003). He also served as Chairman of Human Rights Alliance Nepal's Eastern Regional Committee and was President of Forum for Human Rights and Environment (FOHREn) Nepal. Currently, Chudamani is working in Advocacy Forum Nepal as Coordinator of the Eastern Regional Office, implementing the organization’s programs on legal aid, public interest litigation on human rights issues, and advocacy on transitional justice. As a PILnet International Fellow, Chudamani developed a project on transitional justice in the Nepali context.
