With a background in international development, law and human rights, Claire is a Counsel at Ashurst LLP, overseeing pro bono charity legal practice in the UK and Europe. Claire has extensive experience in advising charities, INGOs, and marginalised individuals on human rights and development. Claire specialises in Women & Girls, Citizenship & Displacement and Climate Crisis & Resilience issues.
Claire holds an MSc in International Development Management from the London School of Economics, a Masters 1 in European law from the University of Rennes I, an LLB in comparative English & French law from Exeter University and an LPC from BPP University of London. Claire has also held positions as a seconded part time maternity cover for Safe Passage's Head of Legal and Casework.
