Speaker: Protecting the Future of the Planet, October 20 Dennis van Berkel is legal counsel to the Urgenda Foundation in the Netherlands, the organisation which won the first case in the world in which a government was ordered to increase its climate change ambitions based on its human rights obligations. He is the co-founder and co-director of the Climate Litigation Network, which supports litigation around the world that seeks to increase national climate mitigation ambitions.
