Deyaa Alrwishdi (2015)

Deyaa Alrwishdi is a lawyer and human rights activist currently working as a Human Rights Researcher for the Damascus Center for Human Rights Studies.  In this role, Deyaa documents human rights violations from the Syrian conflict and develops thematic reports on the trends and patterns of these violations. As a PILnet Fellow, Deyaa will develop a project to create a Syrian center for legal support, which would train civil society actors, media and the general public on human rights, the rule of law, and justice mechanisms.
