Doug is an American lawyer and Founder of Justice Without Borders. An expert on international human trafficking, Doug's research and publications focus on migration and human exploitation throughout East and Southeast Asia. Leading a professional team with offices across Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines; Douglas has coordinated legal teams that have secured landmark victories in Hong Kong's high court, and led his team to run training programs for a growing cohort of pro bono lawyers and frontline community organizations in JWB's target jurisdictions. Douglas is a native of the United States, and has lived in Asia for over 10 years. He is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Centre and a former Fulbright Scholar at the University of Tokyo.
