Eco Ventures Counsel (“EVC”) is a new legal pro bono programme, enabling the world’s leading law firms to provide essential free full-service legal support to early-stage greentech startups, spinouts and social enterprises (“Eco Ventures”) across the UK in annual cohorts.

Cohort 1 launched in May 2025, supporting 21 Eco Ventures to help them grow, thrive and save the planet. Cohort 2 launches in November 2025 and Cohort 3 will launch in March 2026.

EVC is looking to expand internationally, starting with a Europe cohort launching in 2026, and would be keen to explore launching cohorts in other jurisdictions in future.
