Gabriela Christian-Hare is the CEO of the Australian Pro Bono Centre. Gabriela is an Australian and UK qualified lawyer. Before joining the Centre she practised as a commercial lawyer in Sydney, London and Tokyo, working in law firms and investment banking, before pivoting her career to focus on social justice. Gabriela worked for UNHCR in Syria during the Iraqi refugee crisis and as Special Advisor in Tony Blair's Office of the Quartet Representative in Jerusalem. Gabriela holds a Masters Degree in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford, and both a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney.
