Justice Olubunmi Fadipe currently serves in the Criminal Division of the High Court of Lagos State, having served in the General, Civil, Lands and Commercial Divisions previously. Justice Fadipe holds undergraduate degrees in English Studies from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 1989 and in Law from the Lagos State University in 1997. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1999 and is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She practiced as an associate and partner with several legal practitioners in Lagos, including Ayanlaja, Adesanya & Co and B. o. Benson Law Office, for nearly eleven years before being elevated to the Bench of the High Court of Lagos State in September 2010. Justice Fadipe has a passion for young girls and women from disadvantaged backgrounds who are susceptible to abuse and has served on the House of Freedom, Genesis House Board.
