Jonathan holds the position of Partnerships Director: US & Latin America and Global Senior Counsel, based in the US. He previously served as Program Director: Asia at PILnet’s Hong Kong office for over four years. Prior to joining PILnet, Jonathan spent over a decade as a US and Irish immigration lawyer, with experience in New York, London, Dublin, and Hong Kong. His nonprofit work includes a bonded labor abolition project with the International Justice Mission in South Asia and providing legal support to refugees and asylum seekers at Justice Centre Hong Kong. Jonathan holds an LLM from the School of Oriental & African Studies in London and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Rights Law from the National Law School of India. He is a qualified lawyer (non-practicing) in Hong Kong, California, Ireland, and England & Wales
