Julissa Saragoza Arroyo is a Firmwide Sr. Pro Bono coordinator at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, bringing over a decade of experience in championing social justice causes. With a rich background in legal pro bono work, Julissa has been instrumental in driving impactful initiatives throughout her career. Before joining K&E, Julissa served as a pro bono specialist at Shearman & Sterling for 10 years, where she honed her expertise in advocating for underserved communities worldwide. Recipient of 2021 Commitment to Justice Award, the New York Prisoners’ Legal Service’s 2017 Pro Bono Service Award. She is also a two-time recipient of the Society's Pro Bono Publico Award for her dedication to pro bono service.
