Krzysztof leads the European-wide ‘Rethink Fish’ team at CIWF International. His work is focused on improving EU policy in the area of aquaculture and fisheries. He got his PhD degree in fish welfare at the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences where he also worked as an Assistant Professor before moving to the NGO sector. Before joining CIWF Krzysztof worked as a consultant for Eurogroup for Animals, an EU lobby group working on improving animal welfare standards in the European Union. Krzysztof has appeared on TV programs including BBC Countryfile and has been quoted in The Guardian, The Daily Mail, Tygodnik Powszechny, Onet, and many more.
