Speaker: Understanding a Trafficking Survivor’s Journey, October 20 Leah is an advocate of the high court of Kenya having practiced as such for the past eight years, representing a diverse range victims of crime. Her passion for victim rights within the justice system lead to her appointment as the vice-chairperson for the Victim Protection Board of Kenya. Leah continues to dedicated her time offering pro bono representation to victims of child sexual abuse and human trafficking. When not tucked in the couch catching up on movies, Leah loves socializing. She is also the official arbitrator for dispute resolution among her three children on a daily basis. Leah is YALI Fellow, completed the Public Management track of Mandela Washington Fellowship at Bridge Water State University. She attained her LLB degree at Makerere University Uganda and is currently pursuing her LLM degree.
