Luisa Schneider works as an environmental lawyer at the Independent Institute for Environmental Issues (UfU) in Berlin. She specializes in access rights under the Aarhus Convention in Germany and internationally, which are key to fostering environmental democracy. Her work focuses on strengthening civil society’s rights to information, public participation, and access to justice in environmental matters. She is part of the European BeLIFE project, supporting environmental defenders in using Aarhus Convention rights.
