Tal Mary Magdalene Yuin is a Cameroonian refugee who is now based in Cape Town, South Africa. Since her displacement in 1999, Mary has dedicated her life to advocating for women and children's rights. Through her work in her RLO, Whole World Women Association (WWWA)founded by African refugee women and supported by local South African women, Mary gives voice to the voiceless, defends the defenceless, and provides comprehensive social support services to other displaced women refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants. WWWA provides empowerment and phyco-social support by working through a strong network of NGO and RLOs, governmental organizations, and other actors to holistically improve women's self-esteem and lived outcomes.
