Nancy Marchand leads the corporate and transactional pro bono practice at Davis Polk. She works with lawyers across the firm to advise not-for-profit organizations small businesses and individuals and builds collaborative relationships with community-based legal-services organizations to increase the pro bono impact of corporate lawyers. Prior to her current role, she was a counsel in the firm's financial institutions group in New York. A dual citizen of France and the United States, Nancy has also worked for many years in France, both in Davis Polk's Paris office and as an associate law professor at Université Pantheon-Assas (Paris 2). She holds a BA from Princeton University and a JD from Berkeley Law School.
