Negina Nayab basiq, a former Afghan judge, was born in Mazar-I-Sharif city, Balkh province of Afghanistan and is married to Ahmad Tawab Basiq, a former prosecutor. She went to primary school in Peshawar Pakistan and high school in Mazar-I-Sharif city, she has a degree in Law form Balkh University. She had completed several workshops in order to further her education in human trafficking, human rights and women rights, criminal defense, violence against women, and a National legal course for lawyers and prosecutors. In 2017, she qualified as judge and during her judicial practice she presided over internal and external terrorism offenses in special court and family cases in a family court. During her professional career she got the memberships of IAWJ,AWJA and AJA(Afghan Judges Assembly).
