Speaker: How Pro Bono Lawyers Can Help Unaccompanied and Undocumented Children in Europe Gain Safety and Security, October 20 Phil is the Managing Director of European Lawyers in Lesvos (ELIL), an NGO that provides free legal assistance to asylum seekers on the Greek islands of Lesvos and Samos through its team of Greek lawyers and volunteer European lawyers. Phil has been running ELIL on Lesvos for almost five years and, prior to that, worked in London as a solicitor for six years. Phil studied at the University of York, the University of Cambridge and BPP Law School.
