Roman Javoronkov currently works with Moscow City University of Psychology and Education. Prior to this, he was an attorney with Charities Aid Foundation in Moscow, Russia, an organization that promotes the development and activities of the charitable sector in Russia. There, Roman advised clients with disabilities and assisted in the development of legislation in this area. As a PILnet International Fellow, Roman conducted comparative research on the legal status of disabled people in the U.S. and in Russia in order to formulate a plan to address the defects of the Russian system.
