Speaker: Rethinking Technology, Pro Bono and Access to Justice, October 21 Roman is a human rights defender, civil rights activist practicing lawyer with more than 8 years of experience in the field of civil rights, focusing on direct legal assistance in civil cases. He is a specialist, in the area of election law, freedom of assembly, right to justice and a fair trial. He is an active participant of the Coalition of the New Generation of Human Rights Defenders of Kazakhstan, which took an active part in preparing an alternative report of the Universal Periodic Review from Kazakhstan for the first time in 2019, as well as presented his report in Geneva, Switzerland. As a civil rights activists he is a specialist of preparation and providing an independent observation of campaigns during the Kazakhstani election period and a trainer of independent observers.
