Romanita Iordache chairs the board of the Romanian Helsinki Committee, is a committee board member for Accept, and consults for several human rights organizations, as among them the Legal Non-Discrimination Network of the European Commission and the Fundamental Rights Agency—FRALEX. As a PILnet International Fellow, Romanita developed a project to establish a human rights legal clinic at the University of Bucharest in her native Romania.
