Samyata graduated from the National University of Singapore. After being admitted to the Singapore bar, she worked as a Deputy Public Prosecutor at Singapore's Attorney-General's Chambers, with a focus on serious sexual crimes. During her stint as prosecutor, she acted as an advocate at all levels of the Singapore Courts. She now works at Herbert Smith Freehills and is a member of the firm's market-leading Asia dispute resolution practice, focussing on international arbitration.
