Sima is a Palestinian certified lawyer with extensive experience in international law and human rights. She practiced at leading law firms in Palestine before serving as Legal Advisor to a Palestinian governmental institution. She served as a Visiting Professional at the International Criminal Court, Human Rights Officer at UNAMI (UN Assistance Mission for Iraq), and PILnet Fellow (2014-2015). She currently serves as a UNDP expert/ Senior Legal Advisor seconded to the Palestinian Ministry of Justice.
