Sola Sam-Adeniyi

Sola has worked as a development practitioner since 2018 at Spaces for Change, where she headed the legal department and used the instrumentality of the court to lead and demand for the promotion and protection of the rights of victims of human rights abuses in Nigeria- specifically the period between 2018 to 2020, the gross violation of human rights during the #Endsars regime. With a little over a decade of my experience as a lawyer, she is currently using my expertise to contribute to research, policy review and analysis, and multi stakeholder engagement. In five West Africa countries- Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Togo, and Burkina Faso, Sola has supported the direction and facilitation of programs that improves the capacities of Civil Society Organizations to actively engage state actors for the protection of the civic space. She's particularly interested in research, civic space protection, good governance, digital rights, and human security.
