Stanley Ibe

Stanley Ibe is a senior partner at Goodshare & Maxwells, where he leads the firm’s legal and policy advisory work across Africa, supporting governmental, non-governmental, and academic institutions. Previously, he managed criminal justice reform, regional norm development, and strategic litigation projects in Africa for the Open Society Justice Initiative. Stanley has also lectured in law at two universities in Nigeria and held fellowships with the National Endowment for Democracy (Reagan-Fascell) and Stanford University’s Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law (Draper Hills). A Commonwealth scholar with an MSc in International Human Rights Law from Oxford, he also holds an MBA from the University of Essex and an LL.M from Maastricht University. Beyond academia, he serves as a trustee of Hope Behind Bars Africa and as a member of the General Assembly of ActionAid Nigeria.
