Speaker: Partnering for Children's Rights: Unfolding Collaborations, October 21 Szilvia Gyurkó is a freelance child rights adviser and researcher. She graduated from ELTE Budapest with Msc. in Law in 2002 and got LLM at Columbia University New York in 2007. After graduation, she worked at National Institute of Criminology as criminologist and then she was the advocacy director of UNICEF Hungarian NatCom (2012-2014). In 2015, she wrote a best-selling book about child rights and divorce. She teaches child rights at CEU, ELTE and Szeged University; she publishes child rights related articles in several online and print media. Currently she runs the Hintalovon Foundation that develops child rights projects.
