Uchenna Ogunedo Akingbade is the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos Branch, and Founding Partner at Sunesis DLP. A distinguished lawyer and Notary Public, her practice spans dispute resolution, commercial transactions, and real estate. She is an LMDC-certified mediator, an associate of BRIPAN, and a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK). Her work blends courtroom advocacy with boardroom strategy, advising on complex transactions while championing pro bono criminal defence to advance fair-trial guarantees. She is widely recognized for leading capacity-building programmes and cross-sector collaborations that drive practical reforms. Uchenna holds an LLB from the University of Jos, an LLM from the University of Birmingham (UK), and is an alumna of the Lagos Business School Management Acceleration Programme.
