Ye Xiaoqin is a professor of constitutional law at Wuhan University School of Law. Ms. Ye also works part-time as a practicing attorney at a local law firm and is the secretary general of the Ma Ke-chang Jurisprudence Foundation. In the past, she served as the executive head of the Women's Rights Department of the Center for Protection of the Rights of Disadvantaged Citizens of Wuhan University. There, her academic research focused on a variety of criminal law issues and frameworks, as well as women's rights law and theory. As a PILnet International Fellow, Ye developed a project on protection of human rights through public interest litigation and the criminal justice system.
