Yukiko Kobayashi Lui received her bachelor’s degree in legal education at the University of Cambridge before returning to her native Hong Kong, where she completed an LL.M. at the University of Hong Kong. While there, she served as Senior Editor of the Hong Kong Journal of Legal Studies. At Cambridge, she was President of the Magdalene College Law Society and Editor in Chief of the University Law Society’s magazine. Kobayashi Lui is particularly interested in family law, gender and children’s issues in the law, and has worked as a research assistant studying children’s rights in Hong Kong. She also has an interest in furthering feminist and postcolonial approaches to the study and practice of law.
