Yusra Herzi is a Program Officer based in Canada. Prior to joining PILnet, Yusra spent over three years at Asylum Access Malaysia, working as a Work Rights Program Officer and Legal Advocate. Prior to that, she worked at a corporate law firm in Malaysia. Yusra has extensive experience working in strategic litigation, legal empowerment, and legal assistance projects with and for refugees. She holds a bachelor's degree in law (LLB) and a Master's degree in Strategic and Defence Studies, specializing in International Security and Post- Conflict Peacebuilding. Yusra works for the Forced Displacement team at PILnet, focusing primarily on the Refugee-Led Clearinghouse.
