August 20, 2020: Information Session
Students will be able to learn about the details of the competition with a chance to ask PILnet questions. PILnet will also provide training on basic research and problem analysis skills to get students started to prepare for the submission of Executive Summaries.

October 04, 2020: Submission of Concept Note
To enter the competition, the Executive Summary must be submitted to [email protected] by midnight (23:59 HKT) on October 4, 2020.
It should include a short narrative of no more than two pages explaining and describing the project. It should demonstrate knowledge and skills acquired from the learning materials that PILnet provided. The Executive Summary can also be supplemented by an appendix of no more than two pages to demonstrate that problem analysis has been performed. For details, please refer to Requirement.
October 16, 2020 (evening): Opening Event
Finalist teams and legal mentors will first meeting in this opening event.
October 24, 2020: 1st Workshop
The selected eight finalist teams must attend the workshops held by PILnet.
October 31, 2020: 2nd Workshop
The selected eight finalist teams must attend the workshops held by PILnet.
November 21, 2020: 3rd Workshop
The selected eight finalist teams must attend the workshops held by PILnet.
December 20, 2020: Submission of Proposal
The selected eight finalist teams must submit the Full Proposal to [email protected] by midnight (23:59 HKT) on December 20, 2020.
The Full Proposal should be no more than 10 pages. For details, please refer to Requirement.
January 23, 2021: Pitching & Awards Ceremony
A half-day pitching event will be held in January 2021 where the eight finalist teams will have an opportunity to present their project proposals to the judges.
The winner and two runner-up teams will be awarded a seed grant of HK$50,000 and HK$25,000, respectively, to implement their projects within 6 to 12 months with the support of mentorship from PILnet.
