About
PILnet is dedicated to empowering the next generation of legal professionals, recognizing their potential to shape a better future. PILnet works to engage law students, recent graduates, and early career lawyers who are passionate about making a difference using law. Over the years, we have proudly collaborated with numerous partners on various programs including internships, fellowships, and secondments. In these roles, PILnet helps the next generation put their passion to work for a meaningful purpose, build their skills, and expand their networks.
Our efforts also include the Law for Change Student Competitions that foster innovative legal projects with the support of pro bono legal mentors, as well as legal trainings such as the Regional Course on Public Interest lawyering and the Public Interest Law Mentorship Program in Hong Kong.

We’ve all heard the famous African proverb that it takes a whole global village to raise a child. In our profession, it takes a whole global village to raise the standards of justice everywhere - Gregory Vijayendran, President, Law Society of Singapore.
