Join us from November 20-24 for the 2023 European Pro Bono Week, an umbrella event that celebrates the role played by volunteer lawyers, all across Europe, in supporting civil society and human rights organizations and promoting access to justice for those in need. This week-long event is organized collaboratively by PILnet, law firms members of the European Pro Bono Initiative, and regional pro bono clearinghouses and organizations.
The week will kick off with a virtual pan-European opening event to be held on Monday, November 20. Subsequently, there will be a week of in-country events organized by law firms, clearinghouses, and NGOs, taking place either online or in person.
More information will be posted as it becomes available.
European Pro Bono Week is an exciting annual initiative organized collaboratively by PILnet, law firms members of the European Pro Bono Initiative, and pro bono clearinghouses and organizations. The inaugural European Pro Bono Week was held in November 2019 with events in more than 10 cities across the week, including Paris, Madrid, Milan, Frankfurt, and Brussels. Events focused on the delivery of pro bono to civil society organizations, discussion panels on pro bono opportunities and challenges, and celebrations of pro bono development locally.
